Follow-Up Emails ✉️

After a visitor leaves a conversation, Konvoq can automatically send them a follow-up email — a friendly nudge that keeps your business top of mind.

Set this up at Dashboard → Leads → Follow-Up.


Why follow-up emails matter

Most visitors who chat with your widget won't convert on their first visit. A well-timed follow-up email — sent automatically, with no effort from your team — gives them a reason to come back.


Enabling follow-up emails

  1. Go to Leads → Follow-Up
  2. Toggle Auto Follow-Up on
  3. Set the delay — how long after the conversation ends before the email is sent
    • 30 minutes works well for most use cases
    • Use a longer delay (e.g. 2 hours) for technical support conversations
  4. Customize the email subject and body
  5. Save

Template variables

Personalize the email with variables that Konvoq fills in automatically:
