Persona & Behavior 🗣️
Your AI assistant doesn't have to feel robotic. Give it a name, a friendly greeting, and a tone that sounds like your brand. Visitors will feel like they're talking to a real team member — just one that never sleeps.
All persona settings live at Dashboard → Widget → Persona.
Assistant name
This is the name shown in the chat header and in each message the assistant sends.
Default: AI Assistant
Set it to something that fits your brand:
Aria— friendly and approachableSupport Bot— clear and functionalMax— conversational and casual
Keep it short. One word is usually best.
Welcome message
The welcome message is the very first thing a visitor sees when they open the chat. You have one shot to make them feel welcome and tell them what to do.
Good examples:
"Hi! 👋 How can I help you today?" "Hey there! Ask me anything about our product." "Welcome! I'm Aria — I can answer questions about pricing, setup, and more."
Not so good:
"Hello. I am an automated assistant. Please type your query." ❌
Keep it warm, short, and actionable.
AI system prompt
The system prompt is like an instruction letter you give the AI before it talks to anyone. It controls:
- Tone — Should it be professional? Casual? Technical?
- Scope — Should it only answer questions about your product, or can it discuss general topics?
- Language — By default, Konvoq matches the visitor's language automatically
- Lead capture — When should it ask for the visitor's contact info?
Go to Dashboard → AI Prompts to write and manage system prompts.
Auto-generate a prompt
Not sure what to write? Click Generate Prompt — Konvoq analyzes your scraped content and suggests a system prompt based on your brand and what your site is about. You can edit it before activating.
Widget purpose templates
Pick a pre-configured purpose to get sensible defaults without writing a prompt from scratch:

You can still customize the auto-generated prompt after choosing a template.
